Te Tiriti o Waitangi – The Treaty of Waitangi offers a fresh way to explore one of the most important documents in Aotearoa New Zealand’s history.

Written by Māori and Pākehā authors Ross Calman and Mark Derby, this is the first reorua (bilingual) graphic novel about Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Award-winning illustrator Toby Morris brings the story to life through engaging graphic storytelling, while the text has been reviewed by leading Te Tiriti experts to reflect current scholarship. The te reo Māori version was developed by Māori Language Commission registered translator Piripi Walker.
